Terms of service, written like a travel guide.
No dense legal walls. Ten short chapters explaining how our traveller-focused ETIAS help service works — in the same tone you'd hear at a friend's kitchen table.
- 01Who we are
An independent travel-prep team — not a government desk.
EU Visa Portal helps people heading to Europe understand the ETIAS process, prepare their details, and double-check the application before it moves forward. We aren't a government body and we aren't affiliated with the EU. Think of us as the friend who's done the paperwork dance a hundred times.
- 02By using the site
Using the site means you're cool with how we work.
You've had a quick read of this page and you're okay with how we run things. If anything here doesn't feel right for your trip, please don't use the service — we'd rather you choose what suits you best.
- 03Who can use it
Travellers, families, and the people planning their trips.
You should be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and we'll need accurate travel details so we can actually help. Parents and guardians are welcome to prepare an application on behalf of a minor traveller.
- 04Your part
Honest details in, careful help out.
Share accurate information, use the service for genuine travel planning, and please be kind to our small human team. That's the whole deal on your side.
- 05Fees
Clear pricing, no last-minute surprises.
Any fees for preparing and reviewing your application are shown clearly before you confirm anything. There are no hidden charges and no surprise renewals waiting around the corner.
- 06Promises
What we can promise — and what we can't.
We promise careful preparation, a human review, and friendly support. We can't promise approval of any application or a specific processing time — those decisions sit with the relevant authorities, not with us.
- 07If things go wrong
We're careful, but please leave a travel buffer.
To the extent the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect losses connected with your trip — missed flights, hotel changes, that sort of thing. A few days of buffer before non-refundable travel is always a good idea.
- 08Account pauses
We close accounts only when something's clearly off.
If an account is used to harm other travellers or misuse the service, we may pause or close it. We'll always try to reach out first if something looks unusual.
- 09Updates
Travel rules evolve. So will this page.
If we make a meaningful change, we'll flag it on the site so you don't miss it. No silent edits, no fine-print surprises.
- 10Talk to us
A real human, usually within 24 hours.
